Assistant shop manager

  • Responsibilities:
    • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers, providing expert advice to facilitate purchase decisions while adhering to quality and customer service standards.
    • Inventory Management: Support the Shop/Department Manager in maintaining inventories and placing product orders to ensure effective stock management and product availability.
    • Team Supervision: Assign tasks to Sales Associates, Cashiers, and Coordinators, ensuring activities are carried out efficiently. Assist in staff scheduling to align manpower with operational requirements cost-effectively.
    • Sales Monitoring: Communicate sales plans and targets to the team, monitor performance, and suggest corrective actions when necessary.
    • Staff Development: Motivate team members, providing necessary training and development to optimize sales results.
    • Operational Oversight: Supervise opening and closing procedures, ensuring compliance with established protocols, including cash handling and reporting.
    • Customer Feedback Management: Address customer complaints and operational issues promptly, providing solutions or escalating as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Visual Merchandising: Ensure the shop's image aligns with brand standards, overseeing cleanliness, display, and maintenance, including windows, cash areas, and stock rooms.
  • Requirements:
    • Approximately 3 years of experience in a managerial role.
    • Prior experience in the retail industry is advantageous.
    • English skills: Level - advanced.
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
    • Strong product knowledge relevant to the store's offerings.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to develop and motivate team members effectively.
    • Strong planning and organizational abilities.
    • Commercial understanding and strategic thinking.
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
