Responsibilities:
Team Supervision & Support Supervise daily front-of-house operations and support staff during service Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating outlet staff Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to service standards Motivate and coach team members to ensure a high level of morale and productivity
Guest Service Excellence Ensure excellent guest experiences through prompt, friendly, and personalized service Address customer concerns or complaints efficiently and professionally Monitor service flow and guest satisfaction throughout the outlet Assist with VIP guests, special requests, and regular customer engagement
Operational Management Assist in planning and executing daily service, including reservations and table arrangements Oversee cleanliness, hygiene, and ambiance of the outlet Ensure proper setup before service and smooth closing procedures Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain efficient service delivery
Stock & Inventory Control Assist with inventory management of beverages, tableware, and supplies Monitor usage, minimize waste, and report low stock to Outlet Manager Help place orders or liaise with suppliers when necessary
Financial & Administrative Duties Support daily cash handling, billing accuracy, and shift closing reports Monitor sales targets and suggest improvements for revenue performance Assist with scheduling and labor cost management Compile shift reports, guest feedback, and staff performance summaries
Communication & Coordination Attend briefings and pass key information to the team (special events, promotions, updates) Collaborate with the Outlet Manager and other departments (kitchen, housekeeping, events) Ensure SOPs and brand standards are consistently followed
Training & Development Conduct on-the-job training for new hires and junior staff Support career growth of team members by identifying development needs Promote a positive, service-focused workplace culture
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred)
Food safety & hygiene certification (mandatory in most regions)
Certifications in leadership, customer service, or beverage management are an advantage
2–4 years of experience in F&B service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
Experience in managing front-of-house service operations
Background in restaurant, hotel outlet, café, or lounge management
Experience with POS systems, reservation platforms, and inventory management tools
Strong leadership and staff supervision skills
Excellent guest service and conflict resolution abilities
Solid knowledge of food and beverage operations and service standards
Ability to manage staff schedules, stock control, and shift reports
Familiarity with key restaurant performance metrics (cover count, average check, wastage)
Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance with a service-oriented attitude
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure, especially during peak service hours
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
Hands-on leadership style; leads by example
Physically fit to stand and move for extended periods
